Villa Piuma was interested, in the years 2010/2015 by a long and laborious intervention by external and internal refurbishment subject to public funding for works of recovery and reuse of the property. In December 2016, modifications to the building began for the arrangement of new socio-educational structures. Works of extraordinary maintenance with internal distribution changes, restoration of the facade, of the entrance and external arrangements of the rear villa. The renovated Villa Piuma opened its doors on 18 December 2017, with the blessing and the inauguration of the premises took place in the presence of the Auxiliary Bishop Mons. Nicolò Anselmi, the Mayor of Genoa Dr. Marco Bucci, the former Director of the Sorriso Father Giampiero Gambaro, the Director of the OSO Consortium Paolo Spolaore and all the guests. The Villa has become the new headquarters of the three Coronata services that they previously were allocated to the male section.

The Sorriso Franciscano is the owner of the real estate unit used for summer colony with annexed external areas of relevance, located in Acceglio Frazione Saretto. The property with accommodation capacity of 70 beds. It has leased real estate unit Parish of San Bartolomeo di Boves which, after long negotiations, signed the contract of 13 + 13 years, assuming all the burdens and all the restoration works, safety and authorizations for the property and related appurtenances. The Parish of Boves will grant the Sorriso the possibility of using the leased property free of charge for two weeks, in the months of July and August of each year.

Auditorium, located in Genova Albaro, in Via Riboli, 20 building “B” on the floor land, managed by Sorriso. The projects named "Padre Umile Residence", which includes university accommodation, separated fathers, the Ambulatorio and Caup project were inaugurated on 13 June 2020.

1) Liguria Region called “Padre Umile Residence” located in Genova Albaro, in Via Riboli, 20 building "A" on the first floor consisting of 4 mini apartments for hospitality and assistance for separated fathers, made a provision, in a general framework of psychological support, to offer spaces dignified, welcoming and socializing in which to rebuild broken or difficult bonds between fathers and their children.
2) Liguria Region called “Padre Umile Residence” located in Genova Albaro, in Via Riboli, 20 building "A" located on the second floor consisting of 4 mini apartments for university students.
